Lindsey Lohan writes incoherent letter - tribute to Robert Altman

0

| By : Chase Roper

After the death of film maker Robert Altman, Lindsey Lohan released a statement. The letter is not exactly grammatically correct.

"I am lucky enough to of been able to work with Robert Altman amongst the other greats on a film that I can genuinely say created a turning point in my career. . . He was the closest thing to my father and grandfather that I really do believe I've had in several years... He left us with a legend that all of us have the ability to do."

The mainstream media is making this out to be some sort of proof that Lohan is an uneducated, unitellectual, illiterate bimbo. Lohan, obviously grieving a loss, is trying to share her feelings with those who also feel they have lost a lost one. Who cares if her conjunctions or prepositional phrases are all whacked? So what if she doesn't like to use proper articles like "a, the, an, and, is, if, or it?" Her heartfelt writings continue with words of wisdom.

"Make a searching and fearless moral inventory of yourselves' (12st book) - every time there's a triumph in the world a million souls hafta be trampled on. - altman Its true. But treasure each triumph as they come.

Be adequite.

Lindsay Lohan."

Of all the books in print today, the 12st book is too often overlooked, and yet Lohan quotes it so well. Yes, on the road to triumph there will millions of souls trampled and we must not only treasure this but also consider it adequate. Thank you Lindsey Lohan, thank you.

The Wiggles are announcing this week that the lead singer, Greg Page (yellow shirt,) will be leaving the group due to medical complications. Page, who helped start the group in 1993, has been experiencing frequent fainting spells and extreme fatigue since July and has been abscent from several legs of their current tour.

"I have had numerous bouts of this over the past eight months but they are getting more frequent, and more concerning," said Page. "So I have decided that I must go home, rest and seek further medical advice to assure myself that I will be OK for future tours."

Fellow Wiggle members could not be reached for comment as they were all attempting to wake up Jeff.

Snoop D-O- Double G, a.k.a. Calvin Broadus, kept things real Tuesday night while being placed under arrest (for a third time this month) on charges being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, possessing cocaine, transporting marijuana and having a false compartment in his vehicle.

The arrest came just after Doggy Dog's performance last night on The Tonight Show. The fate of this year's Snoop-er Bowl (Dogg's junior football league championship game) is uncertain.

Black leaders seek to stop use of n-word

1

| By : Chase Roper

Rev. Jesse Jackson and gang are rallying together today in an effort to persuade television networks, film companies, and musicians to stop the use of the racial slur, "nigger." The "N-Word" was originally derived from the Spanish word, "negro," which means black, and was likely corrupted later by Americans' mispronunciation. The early settlers who shipped in black workers as slaves used the term to depict not only skin color, but to express their idea of the slaves being inferior in intelligence and value.

In a related story, Rev. Jesse Jackson has just declared a media war against Chris Rock, Dave Chapelle, Eddie Murphy, Richard Prior, Samuel L. Jackson, Ludacris, and all my friends at the Murder One record label.

‘All My Children’ to feature transgender character

Jeffery Carlson to play transgender rockstar, Zarf on All My Children

Just when you though soap operas could'nt get anymore gay.

"All My Children" is carving out a spot in television history this week with the soap's debut of a transgender character. The storyline calls for Zarf, a he/she rockstar, to transition from a man to woman. The drama begins when Zarf kisses Bianca, daytime t.v.'s first openly gay character.

"After 36 years, you start rehashing," said executive producer, Julie Hanan Carruthers. "It's inevitable. We didn't want to fall back on the baby-switching story again."
Now, the show's writing team can focus their attention on a story-road less traveled. For instance, a married couple concieve a daughter and later both undergo sex change operations thus making the child's mom her father and her father her mom. 15 years later the family learns that their child was switched at birth. When they re-unite with their lost son they learn that he had died during surgery while trying to become a woman.

Rosie O'Donell accuses Kelly Rippa of being homophobic - Clay Aiken!

2

| By : Chase Roper

Clay Aiken recently appeared as guest host on ABC's, "Live! With Regis and Kelly." During the broadcast, Aiken placed his hand over co-host Kelly Rippa's mouth. Rippa, obviously bothered by the action, told Aiken that was a "no no" and that she didn't "know where that hand has been." (It is possible that it has been on former military men's crotches.)

Later on "The View," the head overly opinionated woman Rosie O'Donell, spoke out publicly (unlike her) against Rippa's on-air homophobic remarks.

"Now, listen. To me, that's a homophobic remark." said O'Donell. "If that was a straight man, if that was a cute man, if that was a guy, who you know, she didn't question his sexuality, she would have said a different thing."

Rippa, watching the live taping of the show, called in to address O'Donnell's claims.

"I'm going to have to strongly strongly disagree. I think what you're saying is downright outragious. He reached across and covered my mouth with his hands. I have three kids. He's shaking hands with everybody in the audience. I mean, it's cold and flu season - that's what I meant and to imply that it's anything homophobic is outrageous, Rosie, and you know better. You should be more responsible."

"Kramer's" Racist Tirade

1

| By : Chase Roper | In :

Remember the episode when Kramer was trying his hand at stand-up comedy, but when he was heckled by two black men he began yelling obscenities at them and calling them the "N" word? Oh wait - that wasn't an Seinfeld episode, that was last night.

Michael Richards performed last night at the L.A. Comedy club, Laugh Factory. During Richards' set, two black men in the back of the audience began heckling and interrupting. Richards, either drunk, out of control with anger, or trying to do his best Mel Gibson, began screaming racial slurs and other profanities at the two men.

"Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass." yelled Richards.

The crowd, visibility uncomfortable, began leaving the show as the two men yelled back to Richards that he has crossed the line and that his words were unnecessary. They also reminded the former Kramer that he has not had a successful career since "Seinfeld."

There has been no press release from Kramer's camp.

Jackson performance at World Music Awards

Michael Jackson was set to perform live at the World Music Awards in Britain last night. It was his first live performace in ten years. Excited fans had dished out up to 100 pounds (that's about $188 in the U.S.) to see the much hyped rendition of Thriller with Jackson and R&B sensation, Chris Brown.

In an effort to continue his tradition of being unexplainably and unpredictably bizzare, Jackson stepped onto stage after a choir of children sang the chorus to We Are the World. Jackson then sang three or four versus of the same song and exited the stage.

O.J. Simpson, "If I did it, here's how it happened."

1

| By : Chase Roper | In : ,

The Fox Network is going to air an interview this month with O.J. Simpson about his new book, "O.J. Simpson: If I Did It, Here's How It Happened." The two-part interview is set to air November 27 and 29, according to the network.

Finally, the world will get to hear Simpson explain in detail exactly how he hypothetically killed his wife and her estranged lover. During the interview, Simpson begins to read an excerpt when asked from the book, but breaks down into tears.

"I can't do this," the killer cries, "I can't have my kids hear me say this."

Simpson writes in his book that he has "never seen so much blood in his life." He later defends that statement by saying that two people couldn't be murdered without everybody being covered in blood.

Simpson, who is legally not allowed to profit from this, can have only one of two motives for writing the book and agreeing to this interview. He is either completely overwhelmed with guilt for commiting this double-murder and/or feels some sort of twisted need to be recognized for getting away with the crime. Simpson's afterlife will likely be spent sharing a room with Johnny Cochran in hell.

**UPDATE** Video: Ron Goldman's father lashes out on publisher and Fox Network

Publisher Judith Regan: 'I made the decision to publish this book, and to sit face to face with the killer, because I wanted him, and the men who broke my heart and your hearts, to tell the truth, to confess their sins, to do penance and to amend their lives'... NY POST splashing...

Newscorp, parent company to fox broadcasting AND the book's publishing company has pulled the plug on both projects. No book. No t.v. interview.

Man Admits Burning Kittens to Death

1

| By : Chase Roper

An asshole in Maryland pleaded guilty to burning his ex-girlfriend's kittens. Robert Tomlin (the asshole)physically assualted Kelli Ann Green while drunk and then tossed her pets into a fire pit when she fled.

Green told the prosecuter that when she returned to that she heard hissing in the fire when she returned to the fire pit. It was at that time that she discovered the corpses of her kittens.

I'm no theologian, but I'm pretty sure there is a special layer of hell reserved for people like Tomlin.

Female soldier taped to a pole

ONE TIME AT SAND CAMP...

A pentagon official who requested to remain unidentified expressed concern to the Drudge Report over the above video. While this story is still developing (and will soon be played on every television magazine show this evening) it is obvious where the controversy is stemming from.

Women have worked so hard for so long to be treated equally. To have equal rights, jobs, and opportunities. However, the moment a woman in the military is treated like one of the guys and duct taped to a pole, someone has to blow the sexual harassment whistle. . .

Elton John: 'I would ban religion completely'

0

| By : Chase Roper | In : ,

Elton John sat down this weekend with the Observer Music Monthly Magazine. John had some harsh (maybe deserving?) words toward religions.

"I think religion has always tried to turn hatred towards gay people. Religion promotes the hatred and spite against gays. But there are so many people I know who are gay and love their religion. From my point of view I would ban religion completely. Organised religion doesn't seem to work. It turns people into really hateful lemmings and it's not really compassionate."

I sent a letter this year to one such "hateful lemming" manufacturer regarding where these points of view come from. The letter was to Pat Robertson. Please enjoy.

An Open Letter to Pat Robertson

Ku Ku Kachoo Mr. Robertson,

Please, just stop. I believe that in your heart you have genuine and sincere love for Jesus Christ. But I also believe that your perseption of how He loves you is slightly ascew.

You see, Jesus was very clear that when we address others about the sin and junk in they're lives, that we first examine ourselves very closely. He goes on to tell us that we must also do this out of love.

If you still have a question as to what exactly Love is, Paul described it perfectly in 1 Corinthians 13:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

Please keep these attributes in mind before speaking truth to peoples lives. Remember, our Lord wants us to reach others with a message. If we throw out messages that feel like yours do, then we are missing the mark drastically.

Let's get serious Pat, did you honestly believe that by prophesing about God sending storms and tsunamis to our country, you would be helping the lost change their ways? You had to realize that a message like yours will be recieved with defenses raised and feelings hurt. If not, then that would just be painting yourself as an ignorant bigeted stereotypical fundamentalist.

Unfortunately, sending out those messages as though you are the mouthpiece of God makes it very difficult for me to succesfully reach out to others, too. You see, you and I get painted with the same brush and I don't look to good in yellow. So please, for God's sake, just stop.

Sincerely,

Chase

Ahmadinejad: Israel to disappear and be destroyed

1

| By : Chase Roper

Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the Iranian media (and now the entire world)to inform us all that Israel is destined for "disappearance and destruction." Although there is an overwhelming majority of people around the world an throughout history who have prophesied the exact opposite, Mahmoud feels his prediction is more accurate now based on the fact that he has the capability (or so he thinks) to make it happen.

"The western powers (that's us) created the Zionist regime (also us if you're Christian) in order to expand their control of the area. This regime massacres Palestinians everyday, but since this regime is against nature, we will soon witness its disappearance and destruction," says the man in the tan jacket.

Spears and Federline no more!

TMZ.com released exclusive court papers
today filed by Britney Spears in the Los Angelos County Superior Court petitioning a divorce from her soon to be ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

Spears, who has an iron clad pre-nuptial agreement, is waiving her right to spousal support and asking the judge to make each party pay their own court fees.

Federline's first studio album, "Playing with Fire," hit stores on Oct. 31 and was met with dismal reviews and sales.

Neil Patrick Harris. . .GAY.

1

| By : Chase Roper

Noooooo, not Doogie Howser, M.D!

Former child star Neil Patrick Harris told the People magazine website this week that he is, in fact, gay. Harris stated that he felt compelled to make public his sexual orientation in an effort to quell rumors that he was involved in a heterosexual relationship. This comes as a bit of a suprise considering that most celebrities are publicly denying allegations that they are gay and not denying allegations that they are not.

"(I) am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest,” Harris told People.

How could this happen? Well, our first obvious sign dates back to 1997 when Harris starred in the Paul Verhoeven gay book to gay-er movie flop, Starship Troopers.

Madonna believes in Jesus and Kaballah

0

| By : Chase Roper | In :

Could Madonna be a "Christian Kabahlist?" No. The reason - it isn't possible. The singer/performer/crazy woman told the BBC that it is possible for her newly adopted Malawian child to remain Christian and follow the teachings of her favorite mystical off-shoot of Judaism. Madonna went on to say that while she studies Kaballah, she also believes in Jesus.

Believing in Jesus is easy to do. Jesus of Nazareth is a historicity documented human being. It isn't hard to find enough convincing evidence to believe in Him. But what about believing what He said about himself? According to the new testament, Jesus Christ made very direct claims that not only was He God, but that all people will find salvation through His death and resurrection. If Madonna accepts the latter, well then following Jesus and following the texts of Kaballah are just plain contradictory.

Perhaps, the mega-star simply meant that she believes in Jesus' teachings and that He taught excellent morals and gave excellent guide lines for living. Well, if that were truly the case, Madonna would be forced to accept Jesus as who He fully claims to be. A classic example of The Trilemma.

Jesus claimed to be God. Therefore, only one of the following three options can true.

1. Jesus was crazy. If this were the case, Jesus couldn't possibly be a great moral teacher. Crazy people make horrible teachers and life coaches for obvious reasons.

2. Jesus was liar. Of course, if Jesus were lying about being God he most certainly could not be a good moral teacher since telling lies is generally considered a bad and immoral thing.

3. Jesus was sane, telling the truth, and really who He claimed to be - God. In this case, Jesus would most certainly be an excellent model for us all to live by and follow.

The point is, there is something about Jesus and whole "Christianity thing" that demands a serious commitment. Either full devotion and attention to stopping the old ways of your messed up life and following Him, or completely and whole heartedly deciding not too. There is just no in between.

Chaseblogger would love to be the first to burst her bubble, but Madonna gave up all of her firsts a long long time ago.

Haggard Admits Meth, Massage from Gay Man

1

| By : Chase Roper | In :

Ted Haggard - no way would this guy have gay sex.

Ted Haggard, president of the National Association of Evangelicals has stepped down from his leadership role of the New Life Church.

Haggard, who was recently accused of paying a man for sex and using illegal drugs, has admitted to purchasing methamphetamine and to paying a gay man for a massage. He was clear on the fact that he did not use the drug or have sex with the man. Perhaps, Haggard was simply holding them both for someone else?

The whole ordeal comes just days before the election and has skeptics wondering if it is all a ruse. Could the democrats pull off a strategeic political manuever the likes of which only the GOP seem capable of? Yes. Could Haggard, the leader of this mega-church and prominent opponent to gay marriage, be hyprocritical enough to go behind the backs of his congregation and have sex with another man while at the same time telling his church it is wrong? Sure, why not?

In a previous Chaseblogger letter to Pat Robertson, the point was made that christians need to always keep in mind what the apostle Paul wrote in his letter to the church in Corinth. It is found in 1 Corinthians 13. In everything you do, be it preaching the word, reaching out to others in need, or helping people who living in deep sin, do it out of love. If you dont, you run the risk of making other christians look like as much of a complete idiot as you do. It should be mentioned, however, that there are some things you ought NOT do even if out of love. Gay sex is one of those things.

Gay Marriage - an Election Issue?

0

| By : Chase Roper | In :

Last week the New Jersey Supreme Court ruled to allow gay marriage by finding that the legislature must offer same-sex couples some form of marriage or civil union. Many are speculating that this issue will impact next week's election. Why? As a Christian, I have mixed emotions and opinions on the subject. As an American, I have to say I'm proud that our lofty goals of providing freedom and equality to everyone are being met.

"Legislating against sin will only create more law breakers."

To those who feel that allowing gays to marry will somehow send our nation into a fiery tailspin into hell, well, not so fast. God never called upon on Christians to legislate on His behalf. Christians have been called to keep holy the sabbath day (the day of rest) but I don't see any intiatives to ban working one day out of the week. We are also commanded to forgive debts after 7 years and I know that neither political party are eager to enforce that. Legislating against sin will only create more law breakers.

If a couple of the same sex want to marry - fine, let them. Move on.

Seattle woman has 36 hour pregnancy

Amanda Brisendine just gave birth to a baby boy - 36 hours after finding out she was pregnant.

"I had no clue at all. I'm still shocked," she said.

Brisendine claims to have had no idegestion, wierd cravings or any other common sign of pregnancy. Dr. Jim Haines at Overlake Hospital says that what Brisendine thought was her monthly period was actually a dangerous regular monthly spotting.

The new mom attributed the sudden weight gain to the fact that she recently quit smoking.
